More Aussie news today to do with Steam...If you are trying to purchase one of the Grand Theft Auto games available on Steam as of Thursday then your in for a wait. At the moment all the Grand Theft Auto games are unavailable to Australian gamers. This is due to them containing content that led to them being banned in Australia, later to be unbanned following changes. This isn't the same as Manhunt however, the games will becoming available but not until they have been changed to remove the content that had them banned originally.
So just a little warning to any Australian's wanting to purchase Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City or San Andreas from Steam. Your in for a wait, who knows how long for...
UPDATE: As it appears after further research, no game from the Rockstar Games collection on Steam is yet available for Australian's to download, however Rockstar has confirmed they should be within the coming days.
