Rockstar Goes Digital
Rockstar Goes Digital
Today IGN has announced that Rockstar have joined with there digital entertainment store Direct2Drive.com and been given their own zone in the store. They have placed most of there games in the store, only PC versions of course so it's mostly games from between 2001 and 2004, that is:
- Manhunt
- Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
- Grand Theft Auto Vice City
- Grand Theft Auto 3
- Max Payne
- Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne
- Midnight Club II
Also available is the Rockstar Collection, a collection of all those games listed above in one download for only US$59.95 and the Grand Theft Auto Collection containing Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City and San Andreas for US$29.95.
It is great to see Rockstar moving toward digitally releasing games, and I hope to see it continue if further PC versions and developed and released.
