- You play as Cole Phelps who is voiced by Aaron Staton
- Set in the 1940's
- Largest and most detailed open-world ever
- Team Bondi is using a facial animation capture system by Depth Analysis
- 2,000 pages of script for the game (compare that to the average 200 pages for a movie)
- Over 140 interiors
- Almost a complete copy of Los Angeles in the 1940's
- Over 300 actors and actresses used in L.A. Noire
- You can inspect crime scene elements (ex: wallets, purses, bags, etc) and any information you find will be written in a notebook
- Over 90% of the cases in the game are from real life incidents
