The upcoming file adaptions of Max Payne is going strong, and nearest the end of last week they released their first official trailer for the film.

There is also a small introduction you can see on the Official Website or on YouTube. The trailer doesn't reveal much as of yet, only that there are some things that are questionable. For one, the fact that Max Payne can be seen twice wearing "wings of an angel", or something similar. We are unsure what this yet represents, it could be one of Max's famous hallucinations or dreams which occur in the game or something new that we have not seen in the game.

The Official Website has also been updated, apart from the trailer and the intro video there is also a synopsis for the film:

Based on the legendary, hard-hitting interactive video game, MAX PAYNE tells the story of a maverick cop determined to track down those responsible for the brutal murder of his family and partner.  Hell-bent on revenge, his obsessive investigation takes him on a nightmare journey into a dark underworld.  As the mystery deepens, Max (Mark Wahlberg) is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal.
