German Magazine Games Aktuell is apparently set to reveal details on Grand Theft Auto IV's multiplayer features in their next issue after playing 2 of the apparent multiplayer modes. More information as it comes to light, keep in mind that Games Aktuell has been proven to be wrong in the past and this is only rumor at the moment.
Rockstar has sent us Grand Theft Auto: IV hidden package #3. What is in the package you ask? Well two brand-new screenshots and a shirt for Chinuahua Hotdogs. We are releasing the two new screens in two formats. The very high quality .tif format and in the .png format and both un-watermarked. Enjoy.
Rockstar has just updated the official site. Here is the new stuff that has come with the update.
Radio Stations:
IF99 - Funk radio station hosted by Femi Kuti.
Vladivostok FM - Eastern European station. Hosted by Ruslana.
A total of 18 radio stations will be in the game.
Information:
Our Own Reality - Gossip news.
Bittersweet - Possible parody of the blackberry.

Update: Thanks to Mark of RockstarBoard.com we have verified this error will not show to residents of the UK or US. Other locations, such as Australia in my case, will receive the below error.
Some people may notice when trying to access Xbox.com's Sweepstakes for Grand Theft Auto IV that have been discussed bother here and on many Grand Theft Auto fan sites that you recieve a "Page not found" error. The sweepstakes are, as far as we are aware, still on. So the reasoning behind the page being no longer available could be due to technical error, or perhaps you receive this error when not in one of the "50 US States". If you are able to access the sweepstakes page at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/g/grandtheftautoiv/sweepstakes/default.htm please be sure to drop us a line, however I've tried many different methods and no luck accessing the page, so to me it seems it has been misplaced.
If you live in Australia, have an Xbox 360 and were putting-off ordering the Grand Theft Auto IV: Special Edition, sadly it has been sold out according to Xbox.com. At the moment I am unsure if this means they are sold out of copies at Xbox.com, or if they are sold out completely. If the latter, then chances are their will be more. But either way, your bound to find copies for order at one of the retailers on this page, I'll find out for sure of that though and get back to you.
On another note to do with Xbox.com, they have a new artwork screen on their website which shows with the order button:
She appears to be standing at the window of a car, which suggests she is a prostitute as this was the stance they took in past games.
Want more free goodies? You got it! UK gaming giant GAME is now offering free Xbox Live Points and free GTA Gamerpics when you pre-order GTA IV (If you already haven't). Seems like a very generous deal considering GAME is the king of selling games in the UK. Maybe those free Xbox Live Points could go towards the 360 DLC? Anyhoo, hop on over to the GAME wesite and nab your free gifts today.
Xbox.com is holding a spectacular giveaway in preparation for the launch of GTA IV. Prizes include four trips for two to New York, thousands of other prizes to give away, including custom Xbox 360 Elite consoles, Microsoft Points, Gold subscriptions, and more. Sounds too good to be true. Sadly this offer is only open to the "50 United states", good luck to all who enter!
Our friends at GTA4.TV discovered while listening to the latest 1UP Yours podcast that Grand Theft Auto IV will run at a contact rate of 30 FPS (frames per second). This is both on the PlayStation 3 version and the Xbox 360 version. What does this mean? It means that you won't be seeing motion as smooth as say the latest Burnout or Call Of Duty, which are both very high-end.
30 FPS however for a game of IV's magnitude is quiet spectacular, and to be honest I can't see anyone complaining. If you do, then perhaps you need to try playing the game rather then picking out it's small flaws which are caused a majority of the time by the system. Rockstar's development is ahead of time itself, we already know that, we wouldn't expect GTA IV to run like a racing game, IV has much more going on at one time then some cars racing down a road.
Mentioned also is that the PlayStation 3 version is a tad-bit behind the Xbox 360 version, however both will grace us on the same day of release. You can hear the podcast here or download via 1UP.
IGN and GamePro have both posted previews of Grand Theft Auto IV this weekend, and both have new screenshots. IGN has 3, GamePro has 1, you can see these below:
Note also that GamePro's image(s), if you view the article here, have added brightness to their images so none of them are completely real. They have been edited, so don't get the wrong idea and think there is snow or dust in their screen above, it's simply brighter then it should be.
Well not exactly. 3rdrate has spotted artwork of Niko on a building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. While the artwork is not new, it's interesting to see GTAIV's ad campaign in action. If you happed to find your self in Williamsburg, the building is located right on North 5th and Bedford Ave.
Thanks goes to 3rdrate
